NFA Celebrates Three Scholar-Athletes to Study and Compete in College
The AV研究所 Free Academy and the AV研究所 proudly celebrate three high school athletes who will be studying and comping collegiately for Division III schools. Student-athletes were recognized and celebrated by their coaches, family members, friends, teammates, and guests. Additional athletes were celebrated earlier in the year, based on the NCAA Signing Day Schedule (Fall | Winter).
Connor Hollenbeck (Baseball) committed to study with and compete for: Russell Sage College (Division III)
Nicholas Schmidt (Baseball) committed to study with and compete for: Russell Sage College (Division III)
Allison VanDalinda (Rowing) committed to study with and compete for: Rochester Institute for Technology (RIT) (Division III)

CONNOR HOLLENBECK | Baseball at Russell Sage College (Division III)
Connor Hollenbeck has been playing baseball for twelve (12) years. He and his teammates won the Section IX Championship in 2024. That team was made up of many of the same teammates that he won the district championships when he was 12 years old.
Connor has committed to play baseball at Division III Russell Sage College in the Fall of 2025. He plans to study Physical Education.
The NFA Baseball team is coached by Coach Scott Seabury.
NICHOLAS SCHMIDT | Baseball at Russell Sage College (Division III)
Nicholas Schmidt has been a member of the NFA Baseball Team for four years.
High school career accomplishments include:
- Section 9 Champion (2024)
- Two-time Perfect Game All Region player
- Four year Varsity athlete
Nicholas has committed to play baseball at Division III Russell Sage College in the Fall of 2025. He plans to study Nursing.
The NFA Baseball team is coached by Coach Scott Seabury.
ALLISON VANDALINDA | Rowing at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) (Division III)
Allison has committed to row at Division III Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). She plans to study Physics.
The NFA Crew team is coached by Coach Brittany Bonesteel.
