National Voter Registration Day at AV研究所 Free Academy
On National Voter Registration Day, AV研究所 Free Academy scholars at all three campuses answered the civic call of duty. Impact was made where the outcome exceeded all expectations. The AV研究所 Free Library together with many community organizations far exceeded their initial goals and engaged approximately 700 students and registered 228 targeted students aged 16 years and over.
Partners in collaboration with the NECSD's AV研究所 Free Academy, Family and Community Engagement team, and AV研究所 Free Library included: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® - Alpha Gamma Eta Omega Chapter, NAACP - Highland/AV研究所 branch, Community Voices Heard, SUNY Orange, NY Immigrant Coalition, Alpha Phi Alpha
